Energy bar with dates & oatmeal
Ingredients:
70 g nut butter (unsweetened)
70 g pithy oat flakes
70 g of sunflower seeds
70 g chopped nuts (almonds & hazelnuts)
50 grams of sesame seeds
50 g poppy seeds
1 EL honey
150 g date paste| alternatively soft dates
OR
1 mix of organic energy balls erdbeere, Raspberry or Coconut
95ml hot water
For packing:
butter paper, ribbon or twine

Preparation
For the energy bars with dates & oatmeal:

Melt the nut butter in a water bath. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl. Finely puree the nut butter, honey and date paste and add to the bowl with the dry ingredients. Knead everything together well.

Shape the mixture into a ball and roll out between two sheets of baking paper into a rectangle. Leave to set in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight. Then cut into bars or alternatively form balls out of it.

Open the freshness seal of the respective mixture and put the ingredients in a bowl. Pour 95 ml of boiling water over the ingredients, stir briefly and leave to swell for 5 minutes.

Form 2 cm balls from the mixture and place in dried flowers (Organic cornflower blossoms blue, Organic flower magic, organic rose petals, nettle seeds, rosehip powder, edible meadow flowers, etc.). Larger balls or bars can also be formed.
3.
Place on parchment paper and refrigerate for at least an hour. The finished date balls can be stored in the refrigerator for around 3 days.
Gift tip:
A decorative gift: fill the energy bars with dates & oatmeal & date balls in our lovingly engraved storage jars (All storage jars) and decorate with dried flowers.
Lovingly packaged: wrap half of the energy bar in buttered paper (see product image) and tie with twine or ribbon.
