Rub the wooden spoon on all sides with oil before using it for the first time. Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Like other wooden cutlery, the honey dipper cannot be put in the dishwasher because all the water, harsh cleaners and heat make the natural material brittle. Simply clean the honey dipper under running water and then let it drain.
